Once home to the innkeepers of Cashtown Inn, the Officers' Reserve now offers guests a private, fully furnished retreat tucked quietly on the opposite side of the main parking lot. With its own entrance and dedicated parking area, this spacious apartment-style suite provides all the comforts of home within the historic setting of the historic Cashtown Inn.
Half of the suite is original to the 19th-century structure, while the other half is a tasteful addition-blending historic charm with modern comfort.
The Officers' Reserve includes:
King Bedroom: the gracious king bedroom showcases a beautifully appointed brass king bed, comfortable seating, ample storage with dressers and closets and a smart TV. The room also provides direct access to the main bathroom.
Queen Bedroom: the elegant queen bedroom features a four-poster cherry bed, comfortable seating, smart TV and closet, complemented by vintage accents. Part of the original 1797 structure, we know at one time it served as the family dining room. It offers a private full bathroom.
Two full bathrooms, one is a tub with shower while the other is a stand-up shower for convenience and comfort.
All linens are provided.
The living room offers an inviting blend of comfort and style, featuring a cabinet-style Murphy bed that transforms into a queen bed, abundant seating, and a charming game table for four. Thoughtfully furnished with a curated mix of modern, mid-century and vintage accents, the space combines warmth with timeless character.
The kitchen and dining area provide an intimate setting with seating for 4 at a classic 50s dining set. Thoughtfully appointed for extended stays and private meals, the space reflects a unique blend of eras - housed within the original 1797 structure and enhanced, nearly untouched 1950s cabinetry and Formica countertops. Breakfast is NOT included in your stay at the Officers' Reserve.
