The Imboden Room - Second Floor
Situated on the second floor of the inn, the Imboden Room is one of the four original guest rooms and holds a special place in Civil War history. On July 4, 1863, it was used by General John D. Imboden as his personal office while overseeing the Confederate evacuation from Gettysburg.

This room features a queen-size four-poster bed and offers a charming view of the surrounding orchard and the South Mountain Pass, as well as the very route taken by the Confederate army during their approach to and retreat from Gettysburg. Remarkably, the view remains virtually unchanged since 1863.

This smoke-free room includes:
• Private bath with shower
• Hair dryer
• Air conditioning
• Small refrigerator with freezer
• Keurig coffee maker
